HOUSE I — CONSCO FOODS

Consco Foods

The supplier our customers cannot replace.

INCORPORATED 26 JAN 2023 · SAINT-LAURENT, QC · WHOLLY OWNED

Consco Foods was incorporated federally on January 26, 2023 as the successor operating platform to C&C Packing — the Montreal food business the family built over forty-two years and sold to Premium Brands Holdings in 2016. The company describes itself publicly as a protein importer, exporter and master distributor, backed by a "combined 60 years of success" carried forward from the predecessor organization.[1][2]

Headquartered at 9999 Cavendish Boulevard in Saint-Laurent, with a warehouse on Albert-Hudon Boulevard in Montréal-Nord, the company has since opened a Maritime office in Moncton and a U.S. entity in Newark, Delaware.[1]

What we do

Beef, pork, lamb, veal and poultry — sourced globally from vetted abattoirs and packaged for institutional, foodservice and independent grocery customers across North America, Europe and beyond. The flagship brand, Chef's Exclusive® Black Angus Beef, anchors the premium beef program.[1]

Packaging is built to institutional spec — Cryovac®, individually-wrapped portions, multiple-serving cases — out of facilities optimized to meet most foodservice and retail standards.[3]

Infrastructure & certifications

Consco operates a licensed customs bonded warehouse with a state-of-the-art reinspection facility, enabling import, bonded storage and reinspection of product moving through the Canadian border.[1]

Active accreditations referenced on the corporate site include the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) — under a customs bonded warehouse licence — SQF (Safe Quality Food), Canada S912, Canadian Beef, the Canadian Meat Council, and Canada Pork.[1]

Growth — partnerships & acquisitions

August 9, 2024 — Prémont Foods partnership. Consco announced a strategic partnership with Aliments Prémont Inc. of Sainte-Angèle-de-Prémont, Québec — a protein processor recognized for innovation and high-quality product. The partnership added domestic processing depth alongside Consco's import and distribution platform.[4]

July 30, 2025 — Allied Food Distributors acquisition. Consco acquired Allied Food Distributors, a Canadian importer and distributor of high-quality kosher food brands, adding a specialty channel to the platform. Allied operates from 9999 Cavendish Blvd, Suite 220 in Saint-Laurent — the same address block as Consco itself.[5]

How we operate

The principle is unchanged from 1974: be the supplier our customers cannot replace. That means showing up on time, holding the spec, and pricing fairly through the cycle. The win is the renewal, not the deal.

The third generation is operationally inside the business now — purchasing, plant operations, and customer accounts. The handoff is happening on the floor, not on paper.

Where we are going

Patient capacity expansion, deeper processor partnerships in Québec, and selective channel acquisitions — Allied and Prémont are the template, not the exception. No timeline. The asset is the relationship.

Operate the business. Hold longer than anyone expects. Compound quietly.
